It is our pleasure to introduce the Tierra Rejada Golf Club, a public golf course, located in Moorpark, California. Set in the foothills of eastern Ventura County, nationally renowned architect Robert E. Cupp, created this par 72 masterpiece of playability and scenic beauty.

The golf course can be played from four(4) different tees (5,148 yards from the forward tees to over 7,000 from the back tees), each catering to ones' ability. In preparation to your golfing experience, you can hone your skills on our grass driving range, chipping green, sand bunker areas and putting green. 

Other amentities include an expansive clubhouse with a professionally merchandised golf shop that offers the latest in golf apparel and goods. TJ's Grille, the club restaurant and bar, presents first-class food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere where dinning can be enjoyd inside by the warmth of a stone fireplace or on our outside patio enjoying the view of the 10th and 18th holes.

Overseeding

We have just completed our fall overseeding. We overseed with rye grass "wall to wall" which means we seed the fairways and the rough. The rye grass is cold weather tolerant and offers an excellent playing surface through the winter months. Not only is it a great playing surface it also has a deep green appearance which makes the course look spectacular. Come see for yourself.

Greens

We have not aerified our greens this fall. Our greens are in great shape and we did not have to distrupt play by punching and sanding the greens. At this time are greens are the best the have ever been.

Tees

During the overseeding process we also topdress and overseed the tees. Topdressing tees is the application of sand to smooth and level the tee boxes. While topdressing we also seed the tees with rye grass to keep them green throughout the winter.

Overall Conditions

Tierra Rejada Golf Course features a state of the art practice center with a grass tee. The range also has 2 practice bunkers, a pitching green, a large practice putting green and a chipping green.

Quality range Balls:

We rotate our entire inventory 4 times a year therefore the balls are always good quality.

Good turf:

We have a Bermuda grass based tee that offers good quality at all times, we also overseed the tee with rye grass for the winter season.

Ample targets:

The range has 5 target greens and also targets that are every 50 yards that are laser measured everyday to ensure proper distances.
