This Washington state golf course is home to the 2015 U.S. Open and 2010 U.S. Amateur Championships and is conveniently located just outside of Tacoma, in Pierce County. Less than an hour’s drive South from Seattle, this 18 hole championship golf course provides a traditional, links-style layout featuring impressive emerald greens, dazzling fairways, and brilliant tees. The overall views are just as spectacular as your soul escapes into the history of the game.
The primary task of the Robert Trent Jones II design team for Chambers Bay was simple: create the best 18 holes possible on the site. In doing so, many important decisions were made, including the decision to keep the golf clubhouse facilities away from Puget Sound and the decision to make Chambers Bay a walking-only golf course. The decision to pull the golf clubhouse away from the water allowed us to design seven holes that either touch or feel as if they touch the water.
Just like its unique links-style layout offering a natural grassy dunes landscape and breathtaking views of Puget Sound, Chambers Bay will create a unique group golf experience that is unparalleled and one that your participants will remember for a lifetime.
Full field shotgun events are available. As a walking only golf course, a shuttle service will take guests and their clubs down to the practice facility and out to their appropriate starting holes. Caddie service is also available to assist your guests in making their day an unforgettable experience.
Chambers Bay is the perfect place to host your next golf outing in the Pacific Northwest. Any group golf outing of 16 players or more will experience personal tournament coordination, which includes unlimited practice balls prior to play, customized scorecards, contest set up and professional posting of scores following your round which will make your event first class.
