Congratulations on Korea’s Advance to the Second Round in World Cup!
A golfer full of benevolent smile in his face eliciting others’ respect and desire to follow him, who is a member of the golf hall of fame with outstanding records 51 wins including eight PGA Tours and Champions Tour, being respected and loved from lots of fans is Tom Watson. Born in 1949, he is now 61 years old already past his 60th birthday anniversary.
He graduated from the Stanford University and turned to a pro in 1971 to achieve lots of results in golf and become a brilliant golf figure.
Tom Watson said at the celebration and applause from the gallery that the US Open held on Father’s Day was a meaningful tournament as it reminded his children of the meaning of the day. Tom Watson lessons made up of 46 chapters are prepared for all level golfers from a beginner to a pro.
Watson experienced lots of changes since his swing change in 1994, and he admits that he realized the secret of golf as late as that time.
Watson plans to contribute part of the earnings from the DVD sales to the Bruce Edwards Foundation named after Bruce Edwards who died from Rou Gehrig after long years working as a caddy for him.
Watson has been to Korea for skins game about 15 years ago. He believes that Korean female golfers has already accomplished amazing results and male golfers will also be become the best ones. He praised Kevin Na for his potential to become a good golfer, with whom he has participated together in a practice rounding in the US Open. He also acknowledged that Korean male golfers like Kyung-Ju Choi, Y. E. Yang, and Kevin Na will achieve much more results in the near future.
Watson, who plans to devote more passion to the Tour including the British Open and the Senior US Open, sincerely congratulated again on Korea’s advance to the round of 16.

브리티시 오픈과 시니어US 오픈 등 투어 활동에도 더 많은 정열을 쏟을 것이라는 왓슨 씨는 마지막까지도 한국의 월드컵 16강 진출에 진심 어린 축하를 보냈다.
